Community Works’ CarShare Scheme has a bank of volunteers who provide transport for clients to access services around our area. The transport is mainly provided to help people access hospital, doctor’s and dentist’s appointments, and to attend important meetings, however we will consider most things. Many of the journeys cover the Hambleton area but we do cover hospitals such as James Cook and those in Harrogate and Newcastle.

Volunteer Drivers
The amount of time that you choose to give is flexible, and you can choose journeys which fit in with your day to day timetable. There is an allowance which covers your cost of fuel.
This is a lovely way to meet people who are very grateful for your time and support.
